The enemy shelled the borders of Sumy and Chernihiv region more than 150 times in a day
Yesterday, August 27, Russian troops covered eight border communities with mortars, barrel artillery and RSFs.
Krasnopilsk, Miropilsk, Khotinsk, Belopil, Novoslobodsk, Shalyginsk, Znob-Novgorod communities of Sumy region and Novgorodsiversk community of Chernihiv region were under enemy fire.
In the afternoon, the enemy twice fired 120 mm mortars on the territory of the Khotinsky community, in total more than three dozen explosions were heard.
The enemy opened fire from the Russian settlements of Nikolayevo-Daryino and Uspenovka. Almost simultaneously, the occupiers hit the territory of the Myropol community with 122-mm barrel artillery, more than a dozen explosions of shells were heard. The enemy fired from the Russian settlement of Guevo.
Later, the enemy from the Russian settlement of Grafovka covered the territory of the Krasnopol community with 120-mm mortars, about three dozen explosions were heard.
Three times a day from the Russian settlement of Teotkino, the Rashists shelled the territory of the Belopil community with 82 and 120 mm mortars, in total almost nine dozen mines flew. As a result of enemy shelling of one of the settlements of the community, civilian infrastructure was destroyed and damaged: a school, a kindergarten, a school dormitory, a post office, a shop and other buildings, including private houses.
The Novoslobid territorial community was shelled by the enemy from barrel artillery and rocket systems of volley fire, 3 and 36 explosions were recorded, respectively.
The territory of Shalygin and Znob-Novgorod communities was subjected to mortar shelling, 25 and 5 explosions were recorded, respectively.
From barrel artillery and mortars, the enemy shelled the territory of Novgord-Seversky community, 20 and 23 explosions were recorded, respectively.
The Armed Forces continue to defend Ukraine from Russian invaders.
