Volunteer from Ireland handed the bus to one of the units of the Northern Union of the National Guard of Ukraine
Commissioner for Diplomatic Relations with the United States Lieutenant Colonel of the United Council of Ukrainian and Foreign Cossacks named after Hetman Alexander Levando — Michol O'Gorley is married to a Ukrainian woman, together with their two children they live in Ireland. However, as soon as they learned about the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, they immediately began to volunteer and help our country.
“My wife Oksana and I have been helping Ukraine since the first days of the war with both military and civilian assistance. They donated drones, jeeps, pickups, body armor, medical supplies and everything they could to support the defense and security of Ukraine. Despite living in Ireland, we know that Ukrainians are fighting for the security of the whole of Europe, so we are happy to make a small contribution. The reputation of the 27th Pechersk Brigade on the battlefield prompted us to respond with the donation of this bus, which was made possible thanks to the generosity of the members of Plast Kurin Khmelnichenko in America. We also donated the first of many generators thanks to the sacrifice of Ukrainian evacuees from our community in Ireland who joined my family in raising money to support the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The bus also served to transport about 2 tons of new children's clothing and warm blankets as part of humanitarian aid. We will distribute them through our proven and reliable partners — NGO partners in Kharkiv and Kherson,” said Mr. Mikhol.
