Vladimir Zelensky: the world condemned the next terrorist attack of the Russian Federation, which they carried out in Chernihiv
“Today, various leaders, representatives of states and international organizations condemned another extremely vile Russian attack on Ukraine, on our Chernihiv. I am grateful to everyone in the world who today expressed condolences to Ukraine, to our people. Unfortunately, seven people died in Chernihiv from a Russian rocket, among them - a girl named Sofia, she was six years old... My condolences to my family! There are 144 injured and injured, 15 of them children. A rocket has just hit the city center. And this is on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, an Orthodox holiday,” the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message.
He also added that the rescue operation was carried out by 140 people. Doctors, emergency services, military, local authorities — all helped. The president thanked everyone who saved the lives of children, adults - everyone.
“I am sure that our soldiers will respond to Russia for this terrorist attack. Respond tangibly. Glory to all who defend our country and our people!
Glory to Ukraine!”, - Volodymyr Zelensky stressed.
