Volodymyr Zelensky thanked every soldier of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for bravery and protection
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address thanked the soldiers of the State Border Guard Service:
“Today, first of all, our gratitude to every soldier of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, today is their professional day. These are thousands of professional soldiers — truly brave people who not only defend our state border, but also fight together with all the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine at the front. I want to especially mention the units and soldiers of our State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, who have shown themselves in the fighting these days and weeks. Luhansk Border Detachment, Brigade “Revenge”, and especially Sergeant Anton Kirilov, Senior Sergeant Vasily Luskiv and Senior Lieutenant Sergey Nezgovorov. Thank you guys! Donetsk border detachment: soldiers Yaroslav Fedorenko and Denis Yablinsky, senior soldier Oleg Zimirsky. Thank you! South of our state are the warriors of the Kherson border detachment: soldier Sergey Trotsenko, Sergeant Yuriy Shvets and Senior Sergeant Anton Kanivets. Thank you! Berdyansk border detachment — especially Sergeant Dmitry Manuilov and Senior Lieutenant Sergei Peretiatko. Well done! Our Border Guard soldiers from Marine Guard units. Thank you to all of you! And especially worthy of gratitude are sailor Artam Nazarenko, senior sailor Valery Lutsenko, chief sergeant Yuri Petrik and lieutenant Anton Konuchenko. Also the Chernihiv border detachment, whose soldiers are fighting in the Novopavlovsk direction - and really effectively. Soldier Anatoly Romanchenko, Staff Sergeant Konstantin Melnychuk and Master Sergeant Denis Bortnyi. Thank you for your bravery, guys, and to all your brothers!”
