SNS divers and pyrotechnics warn of mine danger
On May 3, the group of pyrotechnic works and underwater demining of the special purpose emergency rescue unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area carried out work on the survey and bringing to a safe state of the reservoirs of Nikolaev.
Working out one of the applications, with the help of modern special equipment, the divers examined the bottom and, during the dive, inspected those areas where the eye of the technician found the ammunition and their remains.
“We have been carrying out these works for several days in a row. They found cluster munitions at the bottom, which were destroyed by controlled detonation. Today we discovered the tail part of the rocket system of the volley fire of the enemy,” Vladimir Kozyrev said.
The water area is a separate “world” that lives its life and according to its natural rules. The current can nail an explosive object to the shore, can hide a dangerous object under its surface and it will be impossible to see it.
Given these risks, a person, if he decides to swim in a river or estuary, can trigger an explosion or be injured by stepping on its wreckage.
Dear citizens! Do not put yourself in danger and this year choose closed reservoirs, in particular lakes and pools, and places where swimming and recreation are allowed by the authorities!
