SNS divers helped save cultural heritage sites

As a result of the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power plant by the occupiers, the water level in the Dnieper River decreased. On the coast of the island of Khortytsia in Zaporizhia, the staff of the reserve and archaeologists-historians discovered 11 fragments of boats of the 18th century.
Given the complexity of transportation of historical finds, due to the lack of a transport entrance, representatives of the National Reserve o. Khortitsa appealed to rescuers for help.
The specialists of the State Emergency Service by boat transported the historical monuments to the coast with the entrance and transferred them for further examination and research.
