Water police detained poachers who caused damage to the state by 5 million hryvnias
During the spawning ban, employees of the police activity sector on the water of the Kherson regional police department constantly patrol the reservoirs of the de-occupied territories of the Kherson region in order to combat poaching.
So, on Lake Bile, which is the territory of the National Natural Park “Nizhnedneprovsky”, the police discovered the facts of poaching. Police detained two citizens who were fishing with the help of illegal fishing tools.
During the subsequent patrol of this area, the police noticed a man who was engaged in poaching fish.
Also on the banks of the Dnipro-Buga estuary, which is the territory of the National Natural Park “Nizhnedneprovsky”, the police found two citizens who were engaged in illegal fishing of aquatic biological resources with the help of nets and glades.
According to preliminary estimates, the amount of damage caused to the state amounts to more than 4.9 million UAH.
