At night, Russian UAVs attacked port and industrial infrastructure of Odessa region
On the night of August 16, the armed forces of the Russian Federation, using the means of warfare prohibited by international law, carried out a drone attack on the Odessa region.
According to the investigation, the enemy attacked the facilities of the port and industrial infrastructure of the Danube. As a result of the attack, the elevator, storage facilities, granaries, administrative premises and agricultural machinery suffered
damage and destruction. Preliminary shelling was carried out by strike unmanned aerial vehicles.
The review is ongoing, a full list of destruction and damage is being established.
Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Izmail District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
