Left the occupation: how to get a passport of a citizen of Ukraine
Adult citizens of Ukraine who have lived in the temporarily occupied territory and have not issued a passport of a citizen of Ukraine can do so in the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine.
To do this, contact any department of the State Migration Service.
For registration of a passport, you must submit existing documents with a photo image. In case of their absence - a written statement with information about the place of residence, study, work. As well as information about witnesses who can be involved in the identification procedure.
The migration service unit conducts the procedure for establishing a person with a survey of family members or relatives of the applicant in the event that the information provided is not enough to issue a passport. This can be done in video conference mode using Skype and WebEx programs.
This is the format of establishing a person introduced by the government during the period of martial law. It greatly facilitates the documentation of citizens from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
