Graduation of 45 young men and girls who were trained within the project “Police Cadet Corps” in Vinnytsia
The youth project, the main goal of which was to prepare school graduates for admission to higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which started for the second time on the basis of GUNP in Vinnytsia region, has been completed. Today, July 26, graduates of Vinnitsa schools received letters of recommendation confirming the successful completion of the curriculum, as well as special tokens.
The Cadets were congratulated on this event by the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast Ivan Ishchenko, Deputy Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast Igor Volokitenko and the Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Serhiy Borzov.
The cadets overcame a difficult path. 14 boys and 31 girls took part in the project “Police Cadet Corps”, who chose their future profession as a police officer. The training lasted six months. During this time, they received the theoretical knowledge and physical training necessary for admission to higher institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the basis of the training center of the police of Vinnytsia region, which has the latest equipment and modern sports halls.
This year we cooperated not only with Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, memoranda were signed with two more institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: the National Academy of Internal Affairs and Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.
- You are graduates of the project, which last year gave good results. You were engaged with the best coaches and instructors according to modern methods used in higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Having chosen the profession of a policeman, you are now clearly aware of what you will deal with throughout your life. It is easy for you to enter and study, and we are waiting for you in the ranks of the police, - said the head of the regional head Ivan Ishchenko.
Ivan Ishchenko also thanked state authorities and local self-government for the financial support of the social project. With the funds allocated from the regional and local budgets for cadets, they purchased uniforms and everything necessary for training.
Chairman of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Sergey Borzov wished future police officers not to be afraid of difficulties, to be honest and to love their work, which is the key to success in the profession.
Those who, during their training under the program, the police cadet corps was distinguished by their initiative, diligence and perseverance, the head of the Main Directorate Ivan Ishchenko awarded the honorary badge “Cadet Police Corps”.
At the end of the ceremony, 45 cadets received letters of recommendation about training, education and training confirming successful completion of the training program, as well as special tokens provided by this program.
