Vinnichanin organized illegal border crossing for men
Operational officers of the State Border Guard Service exposed a 52-year-old resident of the city of Vinnytsia, who organized illegal travel for men aged 18 to 60 years.
For monetary reward, the attacker helped to get abroad for military servicemen who, under the conditions of martial law, are limited to the possibility of leaving Ukraine. The man offered “potential clients” delivery services to the state border and instructed how and when it was illegal to cross it.
At present, the Vinnytsia resident has been declared suspected of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code, the question of choosing a preventive measure for a suspect is being decided.
A pre-trial investigation is ongoing, which is carried out by investigators of the National Police with the involvement of operational officers of the Mogilev-Podolsk border patrol under the procedural leadership of the Mogilev-Podolsk District Prosecutor's Office.
For organizing the illegal transportation of persons across the border, the suspect faces imprisonment for up to nine years. The materials of the criminal proceedings will be directed to the court.
