Detained and arrested attackers who sold confidential data about citizens
The conspirators, under the guise of a detective agency, sold restricted information from government databases to third parties. The defendants were notified of suspicion.
In the capital, the operatives of the Kiev City Department of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police exposed a former law enforcement officer who collected information about individuals under the guise of a private detective agency on order. To obtain confidential data from government agencies, the attacker involved a police officer in his activities.
As a rule, the cost of such a “check” of one person was 4 000 hryvnia.
Internal security operatives, the SBU and employees of the TU SBI, located in the city of Kyiv, detained accomplices during the transfer of another “personal case”.
The police officer and his conspirator have already been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 362 (Unauthorized actions with information that is processed in electronic computers (computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on media of such information, committed by a person who has the right to access it) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
