A Ukrainian soldier tried to leave the country in the ventilation system of the train
The man tried to illegally leave Ukraine to Poland. For 85 thousand hryvnias, the conductor of the Zaporizhzhy-Przemysl train placed the passenger in a specially equipped ventilation system of the carriage.
The border guards, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine, exposed both the passenger and the conductor, who established a new escape channel for evaders to the EU countries. In order to covertly take his customers outside Ukraine, the official equipped a special hiding place in the ventilation system of the conductor's compartment. In a locked technological cavity, evaders had to hide while passing through border passport control.
Currently, the detained official has been informed of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transfer of persons across the state border). An investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring the perpetrators to justice.
