Soldiers of the National Guard showed how to harden stress resistance (VIDEO)
Stress is a normal reaction of the nervous system to those conditions in which the military finds himself on the front line. Stress can help you act faster, move, make decisions.
Moderate stress is a constant companion of a soldier. At the same time, under stress, the nervous system is heavily loaded, and putting a tourniquet, recharging weapons, using a walkie-talkie and a tablet - all this can be an unexpectedly difficult task.
Immersion in the roar of battle, smoke, fire, explosions, extreme physical exertion and sudden changes in the tactical situation, modeled by experienced instructors, allow the National Guard to experience and study the peculiarities of the human body's response to the effects of stress. Psychologist officers tell in detail about the mechanism of the course of these reactions, their manifestations and consequences for servicemen.
This knowledge makes it possible to recognize in time changes in the psycho-emotional state of a person who has suffered a significant moral shock and, for example, has entered a state of so-called combat stupor and cannot adequately react to the situation, putting himself and others in danger.
The psyche of an ordinary person is not adapted to what sometimes participants in hostilities have to face, so such classes allow defenders to better prepare for work in extreme conditions.
Another goal of psychological training classes is to strengthen mutual trust between servicemen.
The cohesion of the military team, mutual support, the ability to focus joint efforts on the implementation of priority tasks, effective communication and the ability to quickly identify possible threats and favorable factors are a set of competencies that largely determine the effectiveness of the unit's actions.
