Russian military again fired on Kharkiv and Kherson region: investigators recorded consequences of war crimes
During the day, the occupiers shelled the border settlements of Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Bogodukhiv and Chuguivsky districts.
In the village of Petropavlivka, Kupyansk district, residential buildings were damaged due to shelling. A 73-year-old woman was injured. She was taken to the hospital.
Two apartment buildings and private houses were destroyed in the village of Vilkhovatka. In the village of Bochkove, Chuguevsky district, a private household was damaged.
As a result of shelling of the village of Guryev Kozachok, Bohodukhiv district, the premises of the agricultural enterprise were damaged.
In addition, the police opened 25 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the Russian army in the Kherson region.
Russian forces once again subjected Berislavsky and Kherson districts to massive shelling with rocket systems of volley fire, artillery, mortars, aircraft and UAVs. Explosions rang out around the clock, the occupiers ruthlessly tried to destroy civilian infrastructure, targeted only the residential sector, where there are no military facilities.
Coastal villages were under attack by the enemy. The Russians dropped guided aerial bombs on a holiday island near the village of Veletenskoye Bilozersk community, killing three people aged 19 to 50, and five more seriously injured.
The occupiers carried out air strikes on the village of Kizomis, guided bombs hit the field, floodplains and homesteads, houses were damaged there.
A 66-year-old man was killed during artillery shelling in the town of Kozatske. Enemy artillery troops shelled the village of Urozhayne, a 17-year-old boy received a mine blast injury.
As a result of the artillery shelling of the s. A 78-year-old woman was wounded in Dniprovske, she had a mine blast injury and lacerated wounds.
The enemy army covered the residential quarters of Kherson with fire almost every hour. The city center, the neighborhoods of Korabel, HBC and summer cottages in the coastal zone were under shelling from the left bank of the Dnieper. In the regional center, shells damaged apartments in high-rise buildings, private houses, cars, shops and utility rooms. As a result of the enemy attack, among the civilians there is a wounded man, a 35-year-old man, he has a mine blast injury and shrapnel wounds.
Investigative and operational teams, experts and explosives technicians worked at the scene. On the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
