From tomorrow, Ukrainians will be able to re-register cars in the application “Diia”
Thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the service will appear in “Action” as early as December 20, 2023. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the launch of the new function during the Diia Summit.
“Revolutionary service is what is already liberating many of our citizens, millions of people, from bureaucracy. Today, at midnight, the online service for the purchase and sale of cars in Diya will work,” Volodymyr Zelensky said. During the speech, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko spoke in more detail about the use of the service.
“The modern team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is concerned about the convenient transformation of the state. There is no longer any need to go to the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to check documents and cars, fill out papers, pay receipts in specific banks, and register in advance in the electronic queue. The speed and absence of any bureaucratic processes is our priority,” Igor Klymenko stressed.
According to the Minister of the Interior, only those who sell or buy a car for the first time in a year will be able to use the re-registration.
“All you need is to start the process of buying and selling in the application, follow the “Actions” prompts and certify the draft contract with a signature. Next — we will do everything for you. It remains only to agree on the transfer and receipt of funds” - explained Igor Klymenko.
A citizen will receive a certificate of registration of a car and state license plates in a few days by postal delivery.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Enterprise “INFOTEH” with pleasure and care will pack the numbers, technical passport and send to a convenient address. Minus - waiting and traveling, plus - time for your own life. And we plan to only increase and scale these changes,” said the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said that 61 vehicles had already been re-registered during the beta testing of the relevant service.
