Today, February 8, at the fourth Diia Summit, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky presented new state services and digital documents. One of the most popular services that every Ukrainian received is to change the place of registration online.
From today, you can inform about your place of residence through the portal or application “Diya” without a single visit to the Central Administrative Offices or military enlistment offices. All other authorities will be notified of this automatically.
The decision to register a place of residence will also be automatic, without consideration by registrars, time costs and unreasonable refusals. Finally, you can forget about the stamps in the passport, the document to the ID-card and the queue for this service.
Denis Monastyrsky noted that automatic registration of residence is a real digital revolution in Ukraine.
“This is really the most massive and bureaucratized service. As of today, every third Ukrainian lives outside the place of registration. More than a million of our citizens live without registration of their place of residence at all. Yesterday, in order to go through all these circles, it was necessary to apply twice to the CNAP, men twice to contact the military enlistment office, twice to collect paper documents and bring the owner of the dwelling with them,” the Minister of Internal Affairs said.
Also, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that from now on, the famous “Form 13" - a paper on the place of residence, as well as a stamp in the passport, like a Soviet rudiment, are a thing of the past. In a few minutes it will be possible to order an extract through the portal or application “Action” and submit it to any state body. Many health and social services will not be linked to the place of residence.
“This is really a real revolution and reform of the institution of registration, which in fact has not existed in legislation for many years. From now on, it will cease to exist in state bodies,” the minister said.
A team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Migration Service of Ukraine and the deputy corps worked on the implementation of the service.
“I appeal to every third Ukrainian who waited for today to finally register his place of residence - do it online today,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
In addition, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced digital services and services that will be implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs in 2022 in the application “Action”, namely:
- re-registration of the car;
- replacement of the driver's license with home delivery; - submitting an application to the National Police of Ukraine through the application “Action
”.
