Children's camp was repaired with losses of UAH 3.5 million: the capital's law enforcement officers reported suspicion to the ex-director
The investigators found that the camp officials and the commercial structure concluded an agreement to carry out repair work in the buildings for the accommodation of children.
In order to allocate budget funds to the act of performed works, false information was entered regarding the overestimation of the cost and volume of works.
Despite the discrepancy with the actual data, at that time the head of the children's health camp signed all the official documents on the basis of which the contractor received the funds in its accounts in full. The amount of damage caused amounted to more than 3.5 million UAH.
Currently, the ex-director of the health camp has been informed of suspicion under parts 4 and 5 of Art. 191 (squandering of budget funds in particularly large amounts) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Further investigative and operational measures are being carried out to identify all persons involved in the crime and bring them to justice.
