Sent grenades and ammunition in parcels: Kharkiv resident reported on suspicion of arms trafficking (VIDEO)
Officers of the criminal investigation of the Chortkiv district police department obtained operational information that a resident of Kharkiv had established a channel for the sale of ammunition and explosive devices on one of the sites.
Implementation took place through a postal carrier. The attacker sent grenades and ammunition in parcels. Police documented the sale of five explosive items and several dozen pieces of ammunition.
At the beginning of December, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the GUNP in the Ternopil region, together with the Chertkov operatives and with the support of the special police company of the GUNP in the Kharkiv region, conducted searches for the attacker.
At the place of residence and in the garage, they seized 9 grenades, 27 detonators of various types for projectile systems of salvo fire, more than a hundred rounds of various calibers, gunpowder, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a store for it and almost 40 rounds, 20 items similar to remote pipes for artillery systems.
The recovered explosive items were assessed by experts as extremely dangerous, requiring immediate destruction in field conditions. What was done.
Investigators of the Chortkiv District Police Department under the procedural guidance of the Chortkiv District Prosecutor's Office informed the Kharkiv citizen about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of round-the-clock house arrest. A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
