Another enemy “bird” was canceled: border guards shot down kamikaze drones over Odessa region
On the night of September 4, the enemy launched Shahed-136 attack drones in southern Ukraine.
One of the deadly drones, moving to the coast, managed to shoot down the border guards of the Odessa detachment over the sea.
The fighters, having heard the characteristic sound of “balalaika” and calculating the trajectory of the target, opened fire on the damage. Soon the enemy “moped”, struck by the border guards, spectacularly fell into the sea.
In total, over the past day, 32 “shahedeen” launches were recorded, which tried to attack Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk region.
The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 23 enemy attack UAVs.
Fighter aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops and units of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were used.
