“Retribution” for winning the tender - in Zaporizhzhia police detained the head of the tender committee of one of the medical institutions

Operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in Zaporizhzhya region and investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Zaporizhzhya District Police Department uncovered a criminal “scheme” to determine the winners in tender procurements.
It has already been established that the head of the tender committee of one of the medical institutions is involved in the organization of criminal actions. For winning tenders for construction work and unhindered settlement, participants had to pay 5 percent of the contract amount.
Yesterday, February 17, the defendant was detained while receiving from the entrepreneur the second “tranche” in the amount of 65 thousand hryvnias. The total amount of the received “rollback” is almost 100 thousand hryvnias.
The chairman of the tender committee was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of notifying him of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the choice of a precautionary measure.
