There was an exchange of prisoners, among which 19 were fighters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
This morning, February 4, there was an exchange of prisoners. Five soldiers of the State Border Guard Service, 7 soldiers of the National Guard, 6 policemen and one rescuer were returned from Russian captivity.
According to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, on this day Ukraine managed to return 116 people. Among them are the defenders of Mariupol, Kherson partisans, snipers from the Bakhmut direction and other heroes.
“All the boys are safe now. They are provided with qualified medical and psychological care. In addition to rehabilitation, there are other issues that need an urgent solution: the renewal of lost documents and the payment of a one-time cash allowance provided for by the state. We keep these issues under control,” said Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko.
