There was a telephone conversation between the Ministers of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Britain
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky held a telephone conversation with British Interior Minister Priti Pettel, who reported that the United Kingdom Government announced the introduction of additional sanctions against Russia due to its aggression against Ukraine.
According to Priti Pettle, Russian airline Aeroflot will be banned from flights to Britain, and “strict export controls” will be introduced on equipment sold to Russia. In addition, London will freeze the assets of all major Russian banks.
It is planned to pass a law that prohibits all Russian companies from attracting financing in the UK markets. Impose sanctions against individuals and legal entities and their subsidiaries, which include Rosteh, Russia's largest defense company.
The whole complex of sanctions will be extended to Belarus. Priti Pettel condemned Russia's aggression and expressed her support for Ukraine.
In turn, Denis Monastyrsky informed his visa about the situation that is developing today due to Russian aggression. The Minister also requested to provide Ukraine with defense weapons.
“Today we really need help, especially from the UK. This is a contribution not only to the security of Ukraine, but also of the whole of Europe,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
