Police explosives in Kherson region saved the life of a man who blew up on a mine
The injured resident of the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka managed to crawl about half a kilometer from the dangerous place and constantly called for help. However, the forces left. Fortunately, a local resident passed nearby, who called the special line 102.
The police officers, together with colleagues of explosives technicians from Rivne and Khmelnytskyi Oblast, who are helping as part of the consolidated squad to carry out the demining of territories in the de-occupied settlements of the Kherson region, immediately left for the scene.
Reaching the victim, a 51-year-old local resident, it turned out that he injured both legs by blowing up on a mine.
The explosives technician put the man with harnesses on both legs. Later, together with colleagues, the victim was taken out of the forest on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. In a medical institution, he was diagnosed with a traumatic amputation of the foot.
Law enforcers remind about the ban on visiting forests, especially in de-occupied territories. Dangerous finds were left everywhere by the enemy: be extremely careful, heed the warning signs.
