Explosives in Mykolaiv region neutralized the Shahed combat unit, which was stuck in the windmill screw (VIDEO)
According to the specialists of the police explosives service, as a result of the drone hit, the detonation of the combat unit did not occur, but remained inside the power generating substation, remaining dangerous for citizens.
The police dismantled the wreckage and the combat part of the enemy UAV from a height of 55 meters, which is equivalent to an 18-story building.
Dismantling was complicated by the fact that part of the drone was in a hard-to-reach place of the windmill screw and at an altitude of 55 meters from the ground.
Police explosives technicians planned priority actions, prepared the necessary explosives equipment and developed several plans to recover part of the UAV.
They made holes and, with the help of special equipment, after a thorough inspection, removed the dangerous part of the drone so as not to damage it. Already descending to the ground, destroyed by controlled detonation.
