Explosive objects: how not to become a victim of a dangerous find?
Every day, rescuers destroy explosive objects from past wars and those left by the Russian occupation forces.
At the same time, we remind you that careless handling of explosive objects or children's mischief can lead to tragic consequences.
The pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service advise:
— if you find an explosive or simply suspicious object — immediately call 101 and 102. Even if you are not sure that this item is dangerous, it is better to be safe. After all, it is better to prevent than to eliminate the consequences. In addition, it is necessary to wait for the arrival of special services to accurately indicate the place and circumstances of detection.
— in no case do not approach the find, it can be extremely dangerous. Optimally safe distance — about 500 m.
— immediately stop any work in the area of a dangerous object. The impact of a shovel, rake, stones, or just a push can result in an explosion.
— in no case do not move, disassemble, or heat a dangerous find.
— it is strictly forbidden to independently defuse explosive objects. This can only be done by specially trained specialists.
