Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported a number of draft laws initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs — Bohdan Drapyaty
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the plenary session adopted three draft laws in the first reading and one in the second reading as a law. The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Generous parliamentary day in support of legislative initiatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted three draft laws in the first reading: No. 6230 “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving the Legislation on the Passage of Civil Protection Service”, No. 7581 “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Improving the System of Emergency Assistance to the Population at a Single Telephone Number 112”, No. 7365 “On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses to Strengthen Administrative Liability for Violation of the Procedure for Establishing and Using Vehicle License Plates means.” In the second reading, as Law No. 5337 “On mobilization training and mobilization”, - Bohdan Drapyaty noted.
According to him, the draft law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving the Legislation on the Passage of Civil Protection Service” is aimed at improving the social and pension provision of ordinary and senior members of the civil protection service, which will enable the State Emergency Service of Ukraine to more effectively implement the state politics, especially in a state of war.
The draft law “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Improving the System of Emergency Assistance to the Population at the Single Telephone Number 112” is aimed at providing the population with emergency high-quality and timely assistance, creating conditions for ensuring access to the single telephone number 112 for all persons residing in Ukraine, including persons persons with disabilities and persons who do not speak the national language.
“This draft law provides for the updating of the legal and organizational principles of the functioning of the emergency assistance system to the population at the single telephone number 112, including access to emergency services; granting emergency services the right to automatically receive information about the location of the subscriber,” said Bohdan Drapyaty.
According to the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the draft law “On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses on Strengthening Administrative Liability for Violation of the Procedure for Establishing and Using Vehicle License Plates” adopted in the first reading will be an important step towards the introduction of the possibility of online registration or re-registration of transport tool. “It is proposed at the legislative level to provide an opportunity to order an alphanumeric combination of the state license plate and independently
to produce signs in any business entity,” Bohdan Drapyaty emphasized.
The draft law No. 5337 “On mobilization training and mobilization” adopted in the second reading proposes to remove the unnecessary bureaucratic mechanism of relations between enterprises, institutions and organizations and territorial recruitment centers.
“After the entry into force of the law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, territorial manning centers will have direct access to the current database of registered cars, which may be intended for replenishment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a special period. Institutions, enterprises and organizations are excluded from the process of information exchange in the issue of vehicle accounting,” the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs summed up.
