Recruited women for prostitution: the police exposed the organizer of illegal business
The 41-year-old organizer of illegal business was exposed by the police. The man posted ads in Telegram channels about work for Ukrainian women. This was for women between the ages of 18 and 35. The goal is to engage in prostitution in Israel. Taking advantage of the vulnerable state and the need for money, the man recruited girls.
Law enforcement officers prevented the export of a Ukrainian citizen for the provision of sexual services at one of the border checkpoints of the Lviv region.
The man's daily earnings were more than one and a half thousand dollars. Also, the attacker helped with paperwork for traveling abroad. Police conducted three sanctioned searches and seized cash, bank cards, notebooks with rough notes and other physical evidence.
The attacker was detained and placed in a temporary detention center. Investigators, according to the procedural guidance of the Kiev regional prosecutors, informed the man about the suspicion of human trafficking [Part 2 of Article 149 of the Criminal Code]. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
