DPSU units continue to perform tasks as part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and in other directions of the state border, where the situation remains no less tense. Within Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, border guards continue to hold their positions under constant shelling of the aggressor. They do everything possible to repel the aggressor.
Andriy Demchenko, spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, stated this during a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center.
“Yesterday, during aerial reconnaissance, units with the help of a drone of the DPSU units detected enemy infantry and the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the enemy with the use of mortars,” Andriy Demchenko said.
He stressed that on the border with Belarus there is no activation of the border units of this Republic. However, the threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of this country remains.
At the border with Moldova in the Pridnestrovsky segment, significant changes are also not noted. In both of these areas, border guards, together with other appropriate forces, continue to carry out tasks taking into account all the important information.
Russia continues to keep part of its forces on the borders in Chernihiv and Sumy regions to demonstrate its presence and restrain the actions of our units. According to the General Staff, these are about three battalion-tactical groups.
“At the same time, we do not notice the formation of a strike group that could repeat the attack on the territory of our state. Russia does not stop shelling these territories,” said the spokesman of the DPSU.
