This was emphasized by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine during a meeting with representatives of the Czech Republic. The main topic of the negotiations was the country's defense capability against the background of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and further support from the official Prague.

“I want to thank the Czech Government and the people of your country for all the support given since the beginning of the Russian invasion. These are small arms, machine guns, heavy equipment, which we received at lightning speed from the Czech Republic. They are already performing combat tasks at the front. We also signed a number of contracts for the supply of shells. I am sure that in the future our interaction will only improve.”
Meanwhile, Igor Klymenko informed the partners that the enemy is insidious and constantly increases the capacity of the military-industrial complex, so timely provision of weapons to Ukraine is extremely important for victory.
“We are interested in providing our units with technology for many years to come. That is why we want to develop our military-industrial complex. Our country today is interested in the latest technologies, we need the help of other countries in this,” the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine stressed.
For his part, the adviser to the Government of the Czech Republic on national security issues Tomáš Pojar noted that the official Prague is admiring the courage of the authorities and the people of Ukraine in this war and this clearly demonstrates the amount of military assistance provided.
“From the first day of this war, we have been sending Ukraine all the necessary assistance. Every day we send at least one unit of heavy weapons. So, recently we made another delivery, in particular to the units of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, we must strengthen our cooperation. We are open to all forms of cooperation. At the moment, we are negotiating to transfer you rifles that are manufactured directly in the Czech Republic,” Tomáš Pojar said.
Also, the adviser to the Government of the Czech Republic on national security issues said that they are interested in strengthening police cooperation between states. Tomáš Poiar noted that a relevant agreement is currently being discussed.
