Vasily Teteria held a meeting with Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of the Republic of Poland Bartosz Grodetsky
On August 21, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine held a meeting of the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Teteri with the Polish delegation chaired by the Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of the Republic of Poland Bartosz Grodetsky and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Grodetsky Ciechocki. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Denis Ulyutin.
At the beginning of the talks, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Teteria thanked Polish partners for their comprehensive assistance to our country against the background of Russia's full-scale invasion, both humanitarian and military.
The representatives of Poland and Ukraine also discussed further developments within the framework of the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the provision of a loan under the terms of related assistance. We are talking about working on investment projects, agreeing on the terms of granting relevant loans and proposals for the implementation of the funds raised.
The parties also raised the issue of development of checkpoints and border infrastructure between Ukraine and Poland. In particular, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vasyl Teteria stressed that the Ukrainian side is interested in the speedy finalization of the draft Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the exercise of control at joint checkpoints and cooperation of control bodies.
In addition, the delegations discussed how to increase the capacity of checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border and reduce queues at checkpoints.
A separate topic of the meeting was the modernization of the Lviv Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the participation of Polish partners. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Teteria discussed with Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of the Republic of Poland Bartosz Grodetsky the need to strengthen the capacities of the medical institution against the background of the current situation in the country.
In turn, the representatives of Poland agreed to contribute to this and to ensure the modernization and equipping of the appropriate medical institution with everything necessary.
The partners also announced the readiness of the Polish side to accept for free treatment, rehabilitation and rest of children of employees of bodies and units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system who participate in hostilities and ensure the implementation of measures for the defense of Ukraine.
