In Kharkiv region, rescuers eliminated two fires caused by hostilities in a day
From October 20 to 21, rescuers of the Kharkiv garrison of the State Emergency Service carried out 26 operational sorties, of which: 5 — to eliminate fires, of which 2 are related to fighting; 3 — for emergency and rescue work; 15 — to provide assistance to the population, police and utilities; 3 — other departures.
Fires caused by enemy munitions hit the Bohodukhiv and Kupyansk regions of the region. Garages burned on the territory of private residential buildings.
Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service removed and defused 657 explosive objects during the day.
Rescuers from the cities of Kupiansk and Izyum brought water in tanks to residents of the respective communities. In total, people received about 50 tons of water, of which 41 were drinkable.
