In Ukraine, the number of deaths on the water has increased: rescuers urge to observe safety rules
Compared to last year, the number of deaths on the water increased by 20%. Therefore, since the beginning of 2023, the State Emergency Service has recorded 640 deaths in water bodies, of which 60 are children.

In addition, when visiting water bodies, it is forbidden to swim to small vessels, swim beyond the bathing limit marked by buoys, jump into the water from structures, in places with uncertain depth and condition of the bottom, use car chambers, rafts, sunbeds, boards, etc. for swimming.
Also, rescuers urge parents to monitor the leisure of the little ones and not allow them to visit even the smallest bodies of water on their own.
