In Ukraine, the demand for the exchange of driver's licenses online has increased
Electronic service in Ukraine is becoming more and more popular. The most popular among drivers is the online driver's license exchange service.
In the first 10 months of 2022, 502 527 driver's licenses were issued in connection with exchange, loss or theft, and for the same period of 2023 - 163 thousand more.
As you know, since May of this year, the exchange of a driver's license has become available in the “Action” application.
At first, citizens had the opportunity to pick up the finished document at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and from November 15, Diya launched the opportunity to order a certificate at any convenient branch of Ukrposhta or by courier on the territory of Ukraine.
To order a driver's license online, you need to go to the Driver's Electronic Cabinet, or the “Action” application via your phone and follow these steps:
- specify the reason for the exchange;
- choose the method of receipt: in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or in the branch of Ukrposhta or by courier;
- pay for the service.
Then the application automatically goes to the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which the administrator processes within 3 days. After that, the driver's license is produced and stored in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And if delivery was ordered, it is sent by Ukrposhta to the specified address.
Also, the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs improves the possibility of obtaining services for Ukrainians who are abroad.
Last month, international delivery of driver's licenses to Poland was launched in the Driver's Electronic Cabinet. This service was expected by many of our fellow citizens and 1100 people took advantage of it. And since November 20, the list of countries for international shipment has been expanded. Citizens residing in the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy have the opportunity to order the exchange of a document online in connection with the loss, damage or alteration of personal data, or when the validity period has expired.
