Heavy snowfall and ice forecast in Ukraine
Today, tomorrow, as well as on November 26-27 in Kiev, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Odessa regions and the capital there are heavy snowfalls, in Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv regions there is heavy wet snow and rain, in some places ice. The increase in snow cover is 20-30 cm, in places 40-50 cm, blizzards, snow drifts are expected, ice on the roads.
Heavy rains will occur in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhia regions and Crimea.
In the northern, central, southern regions and Crimea, wind intensification up to 17-22 m/s, in places up to 25 m/s, in Odessa and Nikolaev regions 25-30 m/s; in western and eastern regions wind gusts of 15-20 m/s. In the waters of the Black Sea, winds are expected to increase to 25-30 m/s; wave height 20-30 dm, during the day of November 26 and night of November 27 wave heights of 30-50 dm.
We urge you to be careful these days and follow the safety rules! It is better not to plan long trips for this time.
