Search and rescue operation completed in Orihiv: 7 civilians were killed, 13 were injured
On July 9, the army of the Russian Federation with a direct hit destroyed the Orikhiv school in Zaporizhia - in the epicenter of the explosion were local residents who received humanitarian aid there. Under the rubble of the destroyed institution were more than one and a half dozen people. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure located near the epicenter of the explosion were also damaged.
Police, rescuers, civilian and military medics and caring citizens worked at the scene.
On July 10, during a rescue operation near the educational institution, the occupiers inflicted another air strike. There are no casualties as a result of this cynical attack, the police car was damaged by the blast wave.
As of 9:00 a.m. on July 11, the analysis of the debris and rescue and search work has been completed. The joint efforts of police and rescuers deblocked the bodies of seven dead citizens — four men and three women. Injuries of varying severity received 13 civilians.
Law enforcers documented the consequences of enemy attacks in the framework of criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
