A photo exhibition for the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine was opened in Odessa
At the Central Railway Station of Odessa there was a presentation of a photo exhibition dedicated to the 9th anniversary of the creation of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Photos will be in the round cash desk of the Odessa railway station during the week. The solemn event of the serviceman of military unit 3014 of the Southern Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine was presented by Senior Lieutenant Yaryna Legka, Senior Officer of the Southern Department of the Supply Department of the National State University of Ukraine Major Vladimir Belov and the Head of the Department of Marketing, Advertising and Leasing of the Station Odesa-Holovna Anastasia Pashchenko.
The guards told the audience the concept of the photo exhibition: “The soldiers of the NGU are heroes. Our heroes are our neighbors, parents, brothers and sisters. In our photos are ordinary people who perform heroic deeds.”
The National Guard, together with the Armed Forces and other components of the Security and Defense Forces, provide reliable protection of Ukraine. NGU units from the first day of the invasion took part in the defense of Ukrainian cities, including Kharkiv, Mariupol, Odessa, Kyiv and Gostomel Airport, liberated Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, Luhansk region and Kherson region.
Soldiers of NGU since 2014 in defense of our state. More than 30 of them are Heroes of Ukraine. Moreover, the youngest guard, who is already a Hero of Ukraine, is only 19 years old.
