The Ministry of Internal Affairs discussed the results of cooperation with the NATO Program for the Education of Integrity

On November 3, 2022, in video conference mode, representatives of Particip met with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the results of cooperation with the NATO Building Integrity Initiative (BI).

The event was attended by the Head of the Corruption Prevention Department Anatoly Fodchuk and the Head of the Euro-Atlantic Integration Department of the Directorate of Strategic Planning and European Integration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Lyudmila Chubynska. As well as representatives of the authorized units for the prevention of corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, teachers and authorized persons for the prevention of corruption of higher education institutions, which belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the management bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed the partners about the results and developments in the field of integrity and anti-corruption activities, which were achieved thanks to the active cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the NATO Integrity Education Program.

During the meeting, participants of the Training for Instructors and the online seminar of the NATO Integrity Education Program shared their experience of participating in the Program's activities, informed the participants about the results, achievements and achievements in the field of integrity and anti-corruption activities.

The participants also discussedthe list and prospects for the further implementation in Ukraine of the NATO program for the education of integrity and deepening cooperation in a number of areas.

NATO's Building Integrity Program was launched in November 2007. It aims to help interested countries to implement effective, fair and transparent management in their national defense and security institutions, strengthen mechanisms to prevent and combat corruption, and improve the management system of financial and material resources. Ukraine officially joined the Program on May 21, 2008.
