In the Carpathians, rescuers evacuated and helped tourists who fell off a cliff
On May 16, the Rescue Service received a report that during the descent of two tourists, residents of the Ternopil region, along the green route from Mount Hoverla, broke off the rocky section of the route and injured their lower limbs, requiring the help of rescuers.
The coordinates of the stay of the victims were established, communication with them is maintained.
When rescuers of the search and rescue department of the village. Vorokhta and the Zaroslyak post arrived to the injured tourists, then it turned out that they fell off the cliff and received various injuries.
The paramedic of the group carried out an examination and provided first medical care to the victims. The woman, born in 1981, was accompanied by rescuers, and the man in 2002 was transported on a stretcher to NSB “Zaroslyak” and handed over to doctors.
