The State Emergency Service demonstrated the capabilities of underwater demining units
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine held an on-site meeting of heads of independent structural units of the apparatus, territorial bodies, units of central subordination, educational institutions of civil protection and research institutions.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin.
During the meeting there was a demonstration of the capabilities of the units of the State Emergency Service for underwater demining.
In addition, the participants of the meeting got acquainted with modern models of emergency rescue equipment, as well as techniques for radioactive, chemical and bacteriological protection.
Opening the meeting, Yevgeny Yenin thanked the rescuers for their high professionalism, emphasizing that the Rescue Service remains the number one service in the rear during this difficult time for the country.
The head of the State Emergency Service Serhiy Kruk, for his part, noted that the level of trust in the SNS in Ukrainian society is one of the highest.
“Today, I am convinced that there are no such tasks that our Service cannot perform,” the Head of the State Emergency Service emphasized, adding that the high readiness of all departments of the Service to act as assigned, - is the key to high ratings of the institution.
“We really keep our front, internal, and despite all the difficulties and challenges of time, we are not going to retreat,” said the head of the Ukrainian Rescue Service.
