He evaded paying taxes for 6 million hryvnias: the director of the enterprise will be tried in Odessa region
Cyberpolice exposed the illegal activities of the director of one of the enterprises of the Odessa region. In 2022, he carried out the sale of building materials on the territory of Ukraine.
At the same time, the defendant submitted inaccurate information to the tax authorities. Thus, he evaded the payment of VAT in the total amount of 6 million hryvnias.
In September, law enforcement officers conducted a number of authorized searches on the territory of the regional center at the place of residence of the defendant and his economic activities. Removed accounting documentation, computer equipment, “work” records, cash, etc.
Law enforcers ensured full compensation for the damage caused to the state. The director of the enterprise was informed of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 212 (Evasion of taxes, fees (mandatory payments), committed in large amounts) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The indictment is directed to the court. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine of ten thousand to fifteen thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.
