Evaded taxes: National police provided compensation to the state 9,4 million UAH
The National Police of Ukraine provided reimbursement to the state of 9.4 million hryvnias of unpaid taxes. The company that was exposed specializes in the manufacture of polypropylene products.
Law enforcers established that officials of the commercial structure engaged in the manufacture of polypropylene products introduced a mechanism for tax evasion. The company bought from another company in significant quantities finished products, but the transactions for the purchase of the goods were only on paper.
This was done in order to artificially generate the amounts of the tax credit. In the future, inaccurate data were introduced into the official tax reporting.
As a result, during 2021-2023, the state did not receive 9.4 million hryvnias in taxes.
Law enforcers reported the suspicion of the director of the company under Part 3 of Art. 212 (Evasion of taxes, fees (mandatory payments)) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The materials of the criminal proceedings in agreement with the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office were sent to the court.
Now compensation for the losses caused has been secured - the company-producer of polyethylene products paid 9.4 million hryvnias to the state budget.
