Evasion of summons: National police conduct more than 200 searches
Investigative actions under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office continue in medical institutions and territorial staffing centers today.
Operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations together with the pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Prosecutor General's Office carry out on the territory of the state a comprehensive development of territorial centers of staffing and social support, military-medical and medical-social expert commissions.
Within the framework of the study, large-scale corruption schemes were identified, in the organization of which officials of these institutions are involved in all regions of the country. For all the facts exposed, law enforcement officers began criminal proceedings. In particular, for a certain remuneration, the persons involved in the proceedings helped citizens with the registration of a disability group or the recognition of them as temporarily unfit for service. Such actions made it possible to postpone or even avoid conscription.
To obtain materials that may be relevant in the pre-trial investigation, a complex of measures is carried out. Today, August 22, operatives, investigators and prosecutors are conducting more than 200 simultaneous searches in all regions of the country. Investigative actions continue at the location of the ISEC and the VLC, in the premises of the TCC and at the place of residence of the persons involved in the “schemes”. The removed materials will be carefully analyzed, and the actions of the employees will be given legal qualification in accordance with the current legislation.

Recall that on August 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the main topic of which was the results of the inspection of territorial centers of staffing and social support (TCC). According to the results, the President signed a decree on the implementation of the decision “On the results of inspection of territorial centers of staffing and social support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.
