We begin the discussion of the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On Approval of Amendments to the Regulation on the Functional Subsystem “Unified Register of Weapons” of the Unified Information System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs”.
The project is designed to:
- Normalize the electronic information interaction of the “Unified Register of Weapons” with the Diya Portal regarding the possibility for the future to submit applications for obtaining permits and their reflection in the Action.
- Detail the list of institutions that may be subjects of the “Unified Register of Weapons”.
- To delimit and detail the powers of the subjects of the “Unified Register of Weapons”.
- Extend access rights to the “Unified Register of Weapons” to individual employees of the National Police and the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to correct information about information objects incorrectly entered by users of the subjects of the “Unified Register of Weapons”.
- Determine additional functions that are entrusted to the Department of Informatization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to exercise control over the maintenance of the “Unified Register of Weapons”.
