On his official Facebook page, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bohdan Drapyaty said that from now on, the cost of license plates for certain digital combinations for mopeds, trailers and motorcycles is set at the level of 2000 UAH.

In addition, due to high demand and limited supply, the cost of individual paid license plates has changed, namely:

  • 0001, 0007 and 7777 — 80,000 UAH;
  • four single digits (except 6666 and 7777) — UAH 50,000;
  • sequential combinations of numbers from 0002 to 0005, 0008 and 0009 — UAH 50,000;
  • two consecutive pairs of identical numbers — 15 000 UAH;
  • from serial numbers 0123 and 1234 — 15 000 UAH;
  • start with two zeros, and the following numbers are not the same — UAH 10,000.

Taking into account the low demand and high supply, the cost of license plates with the number “6" has been significantly reduced, namely:

  • numbers 0006 and 6666 — 10 000 UAH;
  • of four digits - two consecutive pairs of identical digits, one of which 66 — 4000 UAH;
  • of four digits, three of which are 6 and arranged in a row — 4000 UAH.

It is important that the updated cost of toll plates is indicated without VAT, and applies to cars and buses.

Paid digital combinations of license plates are issued only at the request of the person. At the same time, the vast majority of license plates (digital combinations) are free.

The availability of free license plates in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and their cost can be checked in a special service.

At the same time, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Bohdan Drapyaty announced the next step of the department — delivery of license plates by mail and providing the opportunity for business entities to produce license plates of the established model.
