The government has reduced the period of special training and internship for drivers of special vehicles of civil protection to one month
This decision was made today, March 28, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In particular, the relevant amendments were made to the Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 8, 1993 No. 340 and March 3, 2022. № 184.
The draft Government resolution was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. These changes are intended to reduce the completion of special training and training of drivers of civil protection vehicles from six months to one month in order to allow them to drive vehicles equipped with special sound and light signals or intended for the transportation of dangerous goods.
“This will allow prompt admission of drivers appointed to vacant positions and newly created units of the State Emergency Service to implement measures to ensure civil protection of the population in conditions of martial law in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klyr Menko, who reported on this issue.
