Production of license plates by business entities has been regulated - Bohdan Drapyaty
Another important change is aimed at improving the work of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the regulatory and technical levels, the possibility of manufacturing license plates by business entities of various forms of ownership is regulated. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bohdan Drapyaty on his Facebook page.
According to him, business entities that plan to register their activities for the manufacture of license plates must submit to the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the necessary list of documents. After approval by the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within 5 days, the business entity is attached to the relevant Register.
“After joining the Register of the Business Entity, they will be able to produce license plates of the person's choice with separate alphanumeric combinations with the series OA, OV, OS, UE, OH, OH, OK, OM, UB, UC, AG, AJ, DB, NA. That is, the process of assigning alphanumeric combination, production and issuance of license plates will be even more transparent and free from interference of officials,” Bohdan Drapyaty noted.
According to him, today no business entity is included in the Unified Register of Vehicles, because the regulatory changes were adopted relatively recently.
Bohdan Drapyaty added: “Demonopolization and normalization of the license plate manufacturing market will contribute to the development of fair market competition, increase the convenience of obtaining administrative services.”
