This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the head of the work on the elimination of the consequences of the hydroelectric power plant explosion on Tuesday, during a meeting of the headquarters.
In the near future, the streets of the neighborhood, where the water has already left, will be examined by explosives. After that, utilities will come to work, who will take out garbage, cut trees, clean fallen structures.
On the morning of Tuesday, June 13, the water level in the Kherson neighborhood of Ostrov reaches 2.91 meters, the water will rise for several more days. There are no reports of outbreaks of infectious diseases in the affected regions. In the Novovorontsov community, power engineers in the morning connected a well to the power supply, which will provide residents with water.
The Minister of Internal Affairs instructed the officials of the regional military administrations to leave in the near future with working visits to the affected communities in order to record the existing problems with drinking water, electricity, gas supply, epidemiological situation and organize work to eliminate the consequences on the ground.
