Avoiding mobilization for $2,000: law enforcement officers exposed representative of military medical commission (VIDEO)
The capital's law enforcement officers have accused the representative of the military-medical commission of bribery. For two thousand dollars, the woman promised to make a positive decision of the VLC, which would make it possible to avoid mobilization.
She received funds from persons who are to be mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and are already undergoing military service.
The police officers exposed the employee immediately after receiving the agreed amount of illegal benefits. The money was seized at the scene.
At present, a member of the VLC has been detained and declared a suspect under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 (Abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years with confiscation of property.
