UNICEF Ukraine has delivered water delivery and treatment equipment to support more than 3 million Ukrainians
This humanitarian aid was delivered in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between UNICEF and the SNS of Ukraine. The Children's Fund purchased the equipment with the support of the USAID Office of Humanitarian Aid.
The supply includes tankers for drinking water, water treatment plants, mobile pumps, generators and other things, to ensure the public's access to clean drinking water and hygiene.
The assistance will be directed to meet the needs of the population in 19 regions of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of May, UNICEF has made several deliveries to the SNS, which included, in particular, tanks of various drinking water tanks, generators, pumps for clean and dirty water, water treatment stations, water treatment facilities and other critical items to ensure the public access to clean water and hygiene.
